The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), the Special Commission on Technology and Digitalization of Processes (CETYDIP) and the National School of the Judiciary (ENM), organized, in Lechería - Anzoátegui state, the VI Symposium Protection of Personal Data in the Judicial Process.
This day is part of the initiatives promoted by the Venezuelan High Court, chaired by Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez Rodríguez, aimed at strengthening continuous training, the updating of knowledge and the exchange of experiences among the country's judicial servants.
During the activity, the Coordinator of CETYDIP and member of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court, Judge Michel Adriana Velásquez Grillet, presented the paper entitled: “Judgment of the Constitutional Chamber No. 1318 of August 4, 2011”, in which she highlighted the scope of this ruling as a jurisprudential reference for the protection of personal data and the guarantee of fundamental rights in the digital environment.
The Chief Judge of the Judicial District of the state of Anzoátegui and Regional Coordinator of Community Peace Justice, Reinaldo Centeno Mena, also spoke; as a special guest, the former dean of the University of Santo Tomás de Colombia, Rodrigo Cortés Borrero, was present.
In addition, members of the CETYDIP advisory team participated in the cycle of papers; and the provisional judge of the First Ordinary Municipal Court and Executing Measures of the Simón Bolívar municipality of the Judicial District of the Anzoátegui State, Rosmil Del Valle Milano Gaetano.
