UCV FC won
its second match in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores, beating Independente del Valle 2-0,
to consolidate its position in third place in group H with
6 points, just one goal behind the second.
In the
match played at the Olympic Stadium in Caracas, Juan Camilo Zapata put his
team ahead in the 54th minute and in 67' Juan Manuel Cuesta scored the second and final goal.
Group H
is led by Club Atlético Rosario Central from Argentina with 10 points, followed
by Independente del Valle de Ecuador with 7 and the fourth position is occupied by Club
Libertad de Paraguay, who has failed to score.
