Ukrainian forces attack Russian positions 444 times despite the ceasefire

This Sunday, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Ukrainian forces attacked their positions 444 times after the temporary ceasefire, proposed by President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Easter, was declared on Saturday.

“Despite the announcement of the Easter truce, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack Russian positions in the areas of the villages of Sujaya Balka and Bogatýr, in the People's Republic of Donetsk, which were repelled,” the statement said.

In this regard, the agency noted that the Kiev regime also “used 48 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, including one in the territory of Crimea,” and indicated that “there were civilian deaths and injuries, as well as damage to civilian objects.”

It also specifies that Ukrainian troops “carried out 900 attacks with quadcopter-type drones and the launch of various munitions, including 12 bombings, 33 drone attacks and 7 launches of ammunition in the border areas of the provinces of Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod.

At the same time, starting at 06:00 on April 19 (Moscow time), all Russian troops in the area of the special military operation “strictly respected compliance with the ceasefire”, in accordance with the Russian president's order, the Ministry said.
