Minister Cabello: 12 controlled demolitions have been carried out in La Guaira to reduce risks

This Friday, September 18, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that to date, a total of 12 controlled demolitions have been carried out in the state of La Guaira to reduce risks, which have ended without news.

During the day within the framework of the Venezuela Renace National Plan, Cabello explained that these interventions make it possible to remove buildings that pose a danger to those who work in their surroundings.

Among the pending tasks, he mentioned structures of more than five floors, classified in red and unable to be repaired.

In this regard, he assured that each operation includes security forecasts and the prior eviction of the area. After the detonation, teams check the site to check that there are no unexploded explosives, with the support of specialized dogs.

“Controlled demolition number 12, nothing new. Absolute success”, he confirmed at the end of the procedure.

During the activity, the Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, was accompanied by the competent authorities in the matter, such as the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the Directorate of Weapons and Explosives (DAEX); Civil Protection (PC), the Fire Department, among others.
