This Thursday, the United Nations (UN) said in a statement that the killings and displacements of Palestinians at the hands of the Israeli occupying forces in the West Bank do not cease, since between July 30 and August 5, they killed 16 Palestinians, including two children, and injured 56 others.

Farhan Haq, spokesman for the United Nations Secretary General, explained that the last published report indicated that the murder of Palestinians, their displacement, the destruction of their homes and the destruction of infrastructure continue unabated in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

Haq delved into the fact that the settlers also carried out more than 20 attacks against Palestinians during the same period, causing injuries and material damage.

The UN spokesman said that the continuous Israeli bombing of Gaza hampers the ability of aid organizations to respond to emergencies, causing “massive losses”.

He also stated that the report of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs emphasized that “repeated evacuation orders in Gaza lead to an endless cycle of displacement”.
