More than 1,000 people died in Lebanon and one million were displaced from their homes between September 16 and 27 due to massive Israeli bombing.

This was indicated this Tuesday in its report by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), which reported that in Lebanon a total of 1,030 people, including 87 children and 154 women, were killed by bombings from Israel.

“The crisis is overwhelming resources that are already exhausted,” said OCHA, who also reported the displacement of more than a million people due to continuous Israeli bombing throughout Lebanon.

“The intense military escalation has led to massive displacements, mainly in southern Lebanon and the densely populated suburbs of southern Beirut,” according to the OCHA report.

On Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked the suburb of Dahiyeh, located south of Beirut, through a massive bombardment.
