Undefeated! Caracas FC tied with Racing de Avellaneda and advances to the round of 16 of the South American Championship

The Caracas Football Club secured its place in the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana after a 2-2 draw against Racing de Avellaneda, at the Presidente Perón stadium, in Argentina.

With one day left until the end of the group stage, the capital's team has already secured their pass after taking a 5-point advantage over their direct rival, Racing himself, who was left with no chance of advancing.

The Ávila Reds marked a milestone by becoming the first Venezuelan team to eliminate an Argentine club at home in official Conmebol competitions.

It should be noted that in this edition of the South American Cup, Caracas FC also managed to score in Brazil, after drawing 1-1 with Botafogo.
