Undefeated! Venezuela's women's softball team is crowned South American champion after shutting out Brazil

The women's national softball team won the gold medal at the Santa Fe 2026 South American Games after defeating its Brazilian counterpart 8-0 in the final shutout.

At the World Cup Softball stadium, the Venezuelan women demonstrated total superiority, discipline and offensive forcefulness from the initial phase to the final game.

The Venezuelan team scored a masterful performance throughout the competition calendar: they debuted with a 2-0 victory against Brazil, then overwhelmed the Bolivian delegation 17-0.

He then shut out Colombia 12-0 and dominated Peru 16-1, to finally leave behind 7-5 against the Argentine national team, who had to settle for the bronze medal.
