UNICEF denounced Israeli detention and ill-treatment of Palestinian children

Through a report published by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the complaint about the abuse suffered by Palestinian children who are detained by Israeli Zionism was replicated.

The situation report outlined on the UNICEF website states that “all children who come into contact with judicial systems must be treated with dignity and respect at all times”.

He also stressed that for several years, national lawyers, human rights organizations, United Nations experts and treaty bodies have been publishing reports on ill-treatment of children who come into contact with the Israeli military detention system.

“Following an increasing number of complaints of ill-treatment of children in military detention, UNICEF has conducted an examination of practices related to children who come into contact with the military detention system, from apprehension to judicial proceedings and the outcome,” details the report published on the organization's web portal.
