The National University of the Communes (UNACOM) arrived in
Charallave city, installing the first headquarters of this house of studies in the Cristóbal Rojas
municipality, which will serve the Valles del Tuy axis of the Miranda state.
Mayor Yuhismar Hernández welcomed the teachers and all
those who will be part of the training programs of
the institution, created by President Nicolás Maduro and
led by the rector Jorge Arreaza. The headquarters of UNACOM was
installed in the
Ezequiel Zamora Socialist Training Center, in the Charallave parish.
In this regard, he specified that “today we are here with
responsibility and commitment. Here are the men and women (from the
Valles del Tuy axis) who will have the strength to form our
Popular Power (...) The University of the Communes is an institution expected
by all of us.”
The spokeswoman called for implementing “the
pedagogy of love, of understanding” to achieve the objectives
outlined in the 7 Transformations and the Homeland Plan in a
disciplined manner, “as our commander Hugo Chávez taught us”.
The National
University of the Communes, founded by President Nicolás
Maduro, created the Knowledge Map in each Community Circuit, in order to
start, in the coming months, the 19 training programs.
The
map isn't just a document, it's a key tool for the
community. “It helps us identify and organize the knowledge
we already have and the knowledge we need to continue growing, solving our
challenges and realizing our dreams,” the university says in the working
document.
The opening event was attended
by the deputy to the National Assembly Genkerve Tovar, councilors of the Tuyero axis and trainers
of Unacom.
