Universities in Mérida hold Study Opportunities Fair 2026

Public and private universities in the state of Mérida are exhibiting their academic offerings this week at the Study Opportunities Fair 2026, an event that brings together more than 20 institutions and will run until this Wednesday.

This fair, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), brings together 19 public and private companies in one place, offering close to 100 careers and programs.

The event takes place at the Mucumbarila Convention Center and is organized jointly by entities attached to the regional executive, the Ministry of University Education and the Office of University Sector Planning (Opsu).

“There are more than 100 careers for the student to choose from. Our universities are committed to guaranteeing places for all high school students graduating this year from high schools and technical schools in Mérida,” said the coordinator of the State Council for University Management, Ángel Antunez.

In Mérida, more than 10,000 young people are expected to graduate as new high school students in the 2025-2026 school year.
