With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, the National Institute for Socialist Training and Education (INCES) and the Venezuelan Embassy in Belize, the exhibition “Skills that Unite” was given to the public, focusing on the results of the Plumbing and Cutting and Sewing training currently taught in Belizean territory by INCES teachers: Yanet Díaz and Manuel Rangel, respectively.

In a review, the INCES points out that Venezuela and Belize are deepening their bilateral collaboration through exchanges of professional technical training, until now in occupations in the areas of plumbing, diesel mechanics and gasoline and textiles, where the Venezuelan educational institution is responsible for teaching classes.

The exhibition “Skills that Unite” was an exhibition organized by both nations, to celebrate the end of an important formative period and to show visitors the knowledge and skills acquired by Belizeans thanks to the expertise of INCES teachers.

The opening ceremony of this exhibition was attended by the Belizean Minister of Education, Science and Technology, representatives of various universities, and other local and national authorities.

From Caracas, those invited to the event in the Caribbean country were able to listen to a telematic intervention led by personnel from the Strategic Directorate for Research and Development.

Cooperation between the two countries began before the pandemic, when Venezuelan instructors taught virtual classes on urban agriculture and cutting and sewing.

After this process, Venezuela sent trainers to Belize to initially train in mechanics, plumbing and the art of fashion and clothing, consolidating technical exchange.
