Venezuela and Brazil win the National Free BMX Parade

The Venezuelan athlete, Katherine Díaz, and the Brazilian Davi Gibim won the First National Parade of the Series 1 BMX outdoor held last weekend at the United Nations Park in Caracas, according to a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports.

Katherine Díaz, leader of the national ranking, won the elite classification by winning 74.67 in the final score of points over Ariannys Durán from Larense, with 64.67, and Yesdania from Los Angeles Paz, who completed 30,000.

The expert series was dominated by Dante Montilla from Miranda with the highest score of 78.07; followed by Deivy Montilla from Barinas with 69.83 and Jackbert Velásquez from Larense with 42.50. The standings in development were divided with Santiago Mora from Merida at the top of the under-10 podium with 85.00, accompanied by Caracas's Niumar Zafra and Raziel Salazar in second and third place.

The starting women's category was led by Zainab Zavala from Caracas, with 71.33, and in second and third place were placed respectively by Merida's Hoscary Manrique and Homery Manrique.
