Venezuela and China strengthen cultural cooperation with joint work agenda

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the People's Republic of China are making progress in strengthening their relations in cultural matters through a joint work agenda.

In this regard, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Raúl Cazal, and the Chinese ambassador to Venezuela, Lan Hu, addressed priority issues to promote the cultural sector in both countries, according to information from Venezolana de Televisión.

The authorities agreed on the importance of deepening the mechanisms of artistic exchange, literary translations, the promotion of cultural and creative industries, as well as the promotion of joint projects aimed at the preservation of heritage and intercultural dialogue.

They also emphasized that these initiatives will make it possible to consolidate culture as a strategic pillar within the bilateral relationship.

As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to move forward with concrete actions in the short and medium term to energize cultural exchange and strengthen ties between the two peoples.
