Venezuela and Colombia equalized in the first qualifying window of the Americup 2025

The Venezuelan basketball team fell to its Colombian counterpart 64-67, on the second date of the first qualifying window of the Americup 2025.

The match played at the Iván de Bedout Coliseum in Medellín was very even, however, the Colombians who won the first, second and third quarters 20-14/37-30 and 56-58.

Those led by Daniel Seoane tried to beat them, with less than a minute left Venezuela equaled the score at 64, however, the locals extended the difference from the free throw line to three.

For Vinotinto, the best was Gregory Vargas with 16 points, five sacks and six assists, followed by Michael Carrera who had 15 points.

With the result, Venezuela and Colombia were left with a 1-1 record in Group A.
