The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, met this Thursday with the ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt accredited to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Kareem Amin, to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.
During the meeting, the authorities agreed to promote the exchange of good practices and the application of international standards, taking into account the strengths of both nations in heritage, cultural and eco tourism, the Ministry of Tourism said in a press release.
At the meeting, they also proposed the creation of a commercial alliance between Venezolana de Turismo (VENETUR) and the main Egyptian tour operators, aimed at strengthening connectivity through charter flights.
