Venezuela and Equatorial Guinea Strengthen Cooperation Ties on Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations

The foreign minister, Yván Gil, through a post on his Telegram channel, reported that he had a meeting with Simeón Oyono Esono Angue, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Diaspora of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

The publication specified that, in order to commemorate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Caracas and the City of Peace, “we reaffirm our mutual commitment to continue promoting our cooperation agenda in various areas, especially in energy, agriculture, transport, education, culture and tourism.”

He also noted that relations with the African nation have generated “important benefits for the unity and progress of our peoples.”
