Venezuela and India reaffirm commitment to joint development and mutual benefit

Both diplomats agreed to continue to advance mutual cooperation in the cultural, commercial, transport, health and environment fields

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Tuesday with the ambassador of the Republic of India accredited in Caracas, Shri P.K. Ashok Babu, to advance bilateral cooperation in various areas.

“We have agreed to continue to advance our mutual cooperation in the cultural, commercial, transport, health and environment fields, reaffirming our commitment to joint development and mutual benefit,” Gil said in a message posted on his Telegram channel, where he shared images of the meeting.

Last week, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, also met with the Indian diplomat to review the bilateral cooperation map. They addressed projects in the areas of energy, science, technology, transport, finance and ecology.
