Venezuela and Iran strengthen their strategic relations

This Monday, April 22, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting at the Miraflores Palace, with the Secretary General of the Ahl-ul Bayt World Assembly, Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in order to strengthen strategic relations between the two nations in favor of the Peoples.
Through his account on the social network X, the head of state, assured that “excellent bilateral meeting I had with Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, Secretary General of the Ahl - ul Bayt World Assembly”.
“We are pursuing a common purpose, which is to continue consolidating diplomatic relations in different areas for the development of our peoples. Work, diplomacy and cooperation!” , he emphasized.
In a review of Venezolana de Televisión, she noted that Hojjatollah Soltani, Iranian ambassador to Venezuela, and Abdol Hossein Kalantary, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, were present.
The dialogue is part of the 20-year cooperation agreement, signed last June between the Venezuelan head of state and his counterpart from Iran, Ebrahim Raisí, with development plans under the win-win scheme.
In addition, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, and the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, are participating in Venezuela.
