Venezuela and Namibia implement Social and Labor Memorandum of Understanding

In order to advance the implementation of the Memorandum of Social and Labor Understanding, Venezuelan Ambassador Magaly Henríquez held a meeting with the Minister of Labor, Industrial Relations and Employment Creation of the Republic of Namibia, Utoni Nujoma.
During the meeting, the ambassador stated that Venezuela considers Namibia to be a reliable friend, with whom they share the same principles of international law, such as the right to self-determination of peoples.
In addition, the Venezuelan diplomat explained the Venezuelan political scene, and praised the tranquility that exists today in the country, thanks to the leadership and leadership of re-elected President Nicolás Maduro, despite foreign interference from the United States, Europe, their allied countries -satellites-, as well as businessmen invested as influencers who seek to influence the sovereignty of States.
The ambassador highlighted the legitimacy of the Venezuelan Government, which was visible through the materialization of an intense agenda covered by Foreign Minister Yván Gil together with Venezuelan vice-ministers at the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations.
After praising the participation of a delegation from the Swapo Youth League and Nangula Geingos in the Anti-Fascist Congress held on September 10 and 11 in Venezuela, who also received the Post-Mortem award from President Hage Geingob from President Nicolás Maduro, the Ambassador confirmed the government's commitment to continue the drive of mutual political trust, as well as to expand and deepen cooperation and jointly open up wider prospects for friendly cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, the minister of Namibia, Utoni Nujoma, extended his congratulations to the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, whom he recognizes as a legitimate president and leader of great battles, since he is well aware of the Venezuelan reality and the attacks that President Nicolás Maduro has resisted by the opposition, the European Union and other international actors. He also expressed his solidarity with the Government and the people of Venezuela and praised the camaraderie that exists between the two countries.
Likewise, Minister Utoni Nujoma pledged to continue the work to strengthen the interconnection of development strategies between Venezuela and Namibia.
Both parties agreed to continue the implementation of the Work Plan, which was agreed within the framework of the above-mentioned Memorandum of Social and Labor Understanding between Venezuela and Namibia, signed in November 2023.
It is possible that during the meeting, the Venezuelan ambassador presented a list of Venezuelan laws, as part of the exchange of laws and information on labor matters based on that work plan.
