In an effort to consolidate international cooperation and strengthen historic ties between Portugal and Venezuela, a national delegation, led by the vice-chancellor for Europe and North America, Oliver Blanc, held a high-level meeting this Tuesday, April 7, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese nation, Paulo Rangel.

The meeting, held in the Portuguese capital, had as its central objective the revision of the bilateral agenda and the identification of new areas of collaboration that would benefit the citizens of both countries.

During the exchange, the importance of maintaining open and constructive communication channels in the current international scenario was emphasized.

Speaking after the meeting, Blanco highlighted the relevance of this visit for Venezuelan foreign policy. “We are in Portugal on a strategic visit to strengthen our bilateral relations. We reaffirm to Minister Paulo Rangel Venezuela's unwavering commitment to dialogue, cooperation and a shared agenda for the future,” he said.

The meeting made it possible to address issues of common interest, including the well-being of the important Portuguese-Venezuelan community and the promotion of an environment of stability that favors mutual development.
