Venezuela and UNODD-ROCOL evaluate plans and strategic alliances for cooperation against drug trafficking

The representatives of the National Anti-Drug Superintendency (SNA) of Venezuela, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime for the Andean Region and Southern Cone (UNUDD-ROCOL), based in Bogotá, held a high-level videoconference.
The representatives of UNODD-ROCOL expressed their willingness and commitment to provide support to Venezuela, with the objective of strengthening and improving national capacities through strategic plans and alliances for cooperation, technical assistance and training in areas related to the global drug problem and transnational organized crime.
The national anti-drug superintendent, Danny Ferrer Sandrea, presented an assessment of the institutionality, execution and results of the Venezuelan State's policies regarding seizures, prevention and international cooperation.
In addition, key areas of interest were considered and explored to receive technical assistance, press release Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
This meeting was an opportunity to expand the path towards a fruitful relationship, reaffirming Venezuela's commitment to international cooperation and multilateralism, in order to guarantee the well-being, security and peace of the Venezuelan people.
