The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, reported that this Monday, the 26th, he held a bilateral meeting with his Vietnamese counterpart, Bui Thanh Son, in Geneva, Switzerland, during the 55th Session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations (CDH-UN), which will take place from February 26 to April 5.

In his account on the social network X, Gil said that “within the framework of the 55th Session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) in Geneva, we held a very productive bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Bui Thanh Son.”

He stressed that the meeting aimed to “review the progress of our collaboration to date”.

“We express our constant admiration for Vietnam and its valuable path to sovereign economic development,” he said.
