Venezuela and Zimbabwe reaffirmed their willingness to promote peace in their regions

The ambassador-designate of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Magaly Henríquez, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe, Sheillah Chikomo, in Harare.
The meeting took place within the framework of the 44th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic reported on its Instagram account.
He points out that at the meeting, both diplomats welcomed the letter sent by the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, to his counterpart from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, by virtue of his re-election, which highlights the recognition of the leadership of the Venezuelan president, as well as his nationalist vision.
The meeting made it possible to strengthen bilateral ties between Venezuela and Zimbabwe, underlining the commitment of both nations to cooperation and mutual development. The women diplomats also discussed issues of common interest and explored new areas of collaboration.
Henríquez and Chikomo reaffirmed their willingness to continue their work to promote peace and stability in their respective regions.
