Venezuela and Zimbabwe sign Memorandum of Understanding for academic cooperation

In order to strengthen scientific, academic and cultural exchange, the Bolivarian Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of People's Power for University Education and the Republic of Zimbabwe, with the objective of promoting quality university education and deepening binational cooperation ties.
This commitment opens the doors of Venezuelan universities to receive Zimbabwean students, who will benefit through the scholarship program of the Grand Marshal Foundation of Ayacucho, training professionally in various areas of knowledge.
The agreement, signed in the Oval Office of the ministerial body, was signed by the Minister of People's Power for University Education, Ricardo Sánchez, and the Deputy Chief Secretary of the Department of Presidential and National Scholarships of the Office of the President of Zimbabwe, Zvinechimwe R. Churu, with the presence of the Deputy Minister for Africa, Yuri Pimentel.
The day reaffirms the strong ties of brotherhood between Venezuela and Zimbabwe and represents a clear manifestation of the commitment of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to strengthening international alliances and the promotion of education as a strategic pillar for national and global development.
