Venezuela announced the export of 50 tons of Mirandino cacao to Russia

This Tuesday, Venezuela completed the export of the first batch of Venezuelan cacao to the Russian Federation, as part of a commercial alliance that consolidates the agro-productive potential of the Venezuelan nation on the international stage.
The initial shipment includes 50 tons of cacao beans from Miranda state, a press release released by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) revealed.
The operation was carried out in partnership with the Russian company Nueva Producción de Cacao, as part of a strategic agreement that also contemplates the rehabilitation and ignition of primary cocoa processing plants in Venezuelan territory, in order to boost the value chain of the sector.
The Minister of Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio León, reported that “for this year 2025, 3,000 tons of Venezuelan cacao are expected to be exported to the Russian market, as part of this alliance that strengthens commercial exchange and promotes national agricultural growth.”
For her part, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, said that “our president Nicolás Maduro has focused on opening strategic markets to boost the national economy and thereby improve the quality of life of all Venezuelans. This is the productive and prosperous Venezuela that, together with it, we are building.”
