Venezuela celebrates 98th anniversary of the birth of Commander Fidel Castro

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela celebrates 98 years since the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution, through an official statement.
“The legacy of Commander Fidel Castro has transcended the history of our America and the world, and today it remains one of the main inspirations that allows us to walk in the midst of battles for humanity, with commitment and strength, to defeat any difficulty, granting the certainty of popular victory under the principles of solidarity and complementarity between our peoples,” says part of the Communiqué.
In this regard, the document states that Commander Castro will continue to be a beacon of dignity and an example for future generations.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela celebrates, with revolutionary fervor, the 98th anniversary of the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, evoking his rebellious thinking, inspired by Martian and Bolivarian ideas, which allowed him to build one of the greatest libertarian exploits in our America, providing the world with a doctrine of justice for oppressed peoples and maintaining, throughout his life, an exemplary conduct in the fight against imperialism and colonialism.
The legacy of Commander Fidel Castro has transcended the history of our America and the world, and today it remains one of the main inspirations that allows us to walk in the midst of battles for humanity, with commitment and strength, to defeat any difficulty, granting the certainty of popular victory under the principles of solidarity and complementarity between our peoples.
From Venezuela, we join the sentiments of the Cuban people, of its President Miguel Díaz-Cane l and of Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, certain that the Socialist Revolution, undertaken by the immortal Commander Fidel, will continue to be that beacon of dignity for all those who aspire to build a better, just and free world without interference, where respect for the most sacred values for the human being is the basis for building a society in favor of all its citizens.
In celebrating this 98th anniversary, the Homeland of Simón Bolívar and Hugo Chávez Frías reaffirms its commitment to the values of loyalty, courage and wisdom of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, which have been assumed by the Bolivarian Revolution and are fundamental elements in the advancement of the socialist project and the consolidation of national sovereignty.
