National Authorities led a solemn ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the war of resistance of the Chinese people against Japanese aggression and made a wreath before the sarcophagus where the mortal remains of the Liberator Simon Bolivar rest in the National Pantheon in Caracas.

The ceremony was attended by the Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez; the Honorable Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Venezuela, Lan Hu; the Sectorial Vice President of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, Vladimir Padrino López; the Sectorial Vice President of Planning of Venezuela, Ricardo Menéndez; the Sectorial Vice President of Services and Public Works, Jorge Márquez and the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.

During the activity, Vice President Rodríguez, and Ambassador Lan, signed the act in honor of the memory of El Libertador Simón Bolívar.

Rodríguez pointed out that the Great Homeland Victory of the Chinese people against Japanese aggression and the global anti-fascist war was achieved thanks to the sacrifice of this Asian population, in the face of the Nazi-Fascism presented at the time.

He also recalled that the Chinese people managed to resist fascism in the face of Nazism, since at that time Japan was part of the axis of neofascism together with Germany and Italy and constituted the occupation of our sister China and they turned into a great factory of death, of torture, where even pregnant women were not respected.

In that sense, he emphasized that the hatred that fascism raises most can never be imposed highlighted the support and recognition given to sister nations China and Russia, in the face of their historic battles.

Rodríguez highlighted the recent Global Governance initiative presented by the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and backed by the Head of State Nicolás Maduro, which is based on the recognition of the sovereign equality of countries, to rebuild true multilateralism, centered on the happiness of peoples with concrete results.
