Venezuela confirms Omar López as manager of the National Team for the WBSC Premier12 2024.

López, bench coach of the Houston Astros, led Venezuela to the quarterfinals of the World Baseball Classic in 2023.

Among the staff that will accompany López are former Major League Baseball players, Robinson Chirinos (Bench Coach ), Gerardo Parra ( 1B Coach) and former Venezuelan League Manager of the Year Wilfredo Romero (batting coach).
