Venezuela congratulates China on the 76th anniversary of its founding

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through an official statement published on the Telegam account of the foreign minister, Yván Gil, congratulated the Chinese people and government on the 76th anniversary of its founding.

Below is the full text of the statement:

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its sincerest congratulations to the brotherly Chinese people and their Government, on this special date, when the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China is celebrated.

After a long period of struggles against colonialism, imperialism, invasions, aggressions and internal struggles, the Chinese Communist Party realized the dream of independence, freedom, peace, equality, inclusion, social justice, as well as progress, which today is celebrated in times of splendor and revitalization.

From the soil of free men and women, forged by the sword of liberators, of the great Simon Bolivar and the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez Frias, we proudly salute the important achievements achieved in these years of efforts and prowess. On this occasion, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela also expresses its congratulations to President Xi Jinping, wishing him, his Government and the courageous Chinese people continued triumphs towards their highest goals.
