The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela conveys its most fraternal congratulations to the heroic People of Vietnam, their Government and the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of national independence, proclaimed on September 2, 1945, after the historic August Revolution.
The Vietnamese Revolution, a universal example of dignity, resistance and triumph in the face of colonialism and imperialism, is deeply attached to the ideology of the Bolivarian Revolution, which also raises the flags of sovereignty, self-determination, social justice and solidarity between peoples. Both processes recognize the spirit of struggle that challenges all forms of domination, while promoting peace, integration and the well-being of the majority.
On this memorable date, Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to continue strengthening ties of friendship, cooperation and strategic brotherhood with Vietnam, convinced that the unity of free peoples is the path to a more just and balanced world order.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela pays tribute to the enduring memory of President Ho Chi Minh, whose legacy will continue to illuminate the struggles of humanity for a future of dignity, freedom and peace.
