The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Qatar, G/J Carlos José Mata Figueroa, donated a collection of books to this important cultural monument in the Gulf country to the National Library of that country.

In this regard, Mata Figueroa stressed that this donation will contribute significantly to the growing collection of books and is a testimony to the value that Venezuela attaches to education and culture, as well as the importance of books and the continuation of the work for the promotion of culture and especially of literature and national culture by the Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, reports what has been published through the web portal of the Ministry of Popular Power for Venezuelan Relations.

In addition, he stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen the relationship between Venezuela and Qatar, and to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood with activities such as this one, in addition to publicizing Venezuelan culture among the Qatari population.

The event was attended by representatives of the Latin American and Caribbean Group (GRULAC), State Minister Hamad bin Abdelaziz Al Kawari, who thanked the generous and rich cultural contribution.
