Venezuela has a 23.7% reduction in the crime rate compared to 2023

The Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, reported that Venezuela has a 23.7% reduction in the crime rate compared to 2023.

During his meeting with representatives of the Ministerial Council for Citizen Security, the Chief Admiral explained that with this “total reduction in crime of more than 23.7%, it consolidates Venezuela as one of the safest nations in Latin America, thanks to the action of citizen security bodies,” the MPPRIJP press reported.

In addition, Ceballos congratulated the work of the men and women of the different citizen security bodies, for their participation and deployment in the two concerts held in the city of Caracas, during the last month.
