Venezuela exported more than 86,000 quintals of coffee during the first half of 2025, representing a growth of 500% compared to the previous year, said the Minister of Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, in statements replicated by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).

“At this rate, we plan to achieve a 1000% increase by the end of the year,” he said during the official recognition ceremony of 95.9 tons of green coffee that will be exported to the United States (US) market.

This is the fifth export of the year made by the Karaka XXI Corporation, CA, promoted by the Economic Recovery Plan, in conjunction with the Productive Agriculture portfolio, in order to strengthen the national productive apparatus and move towards internationalization.

For his part, the company's representative, Oscar Machuca, indicated that “this batch will be sent to the United States, in addition to five previous operations carried out to destinations such as Malaysia, Russia, Turkey and Southeast Asia.”

He added that the export marks a milestone within the company's annual plan to strengthen the national productive apparatus, and to move towards the objective of positioning Venezuela as an agro-productive power in the international market.
