Venezuela is in fourth place in the medal table at the Santa Fe 2026 South American Games

The Venezuelan delegation continues to climb positions in the XIII edition of the Santa Fe 2026 South American Games, ranking fourth in the overall medal table.

Venezuela has accumulated 3 gold medals, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals for a total of 11 medals.

The athletes Jorge Otaiza, Lismar Lyon, Katherine Echandía, were the first Venezuelan athletes to play the national anthem in Santa Fe.

Otaiza won the gold medal in men's 50-meter butterfly swimming with a time of 23.60. Lismar Lyon in the women's 50m butterfly with a time of 26.38. While Katherine Echandía did the same thing but in weightlifting in the 53 kg category.

The medal table is led by Brazil with 21 golds, followed by Argentina with 12 and Colombia with 10.
