Venezuela is in third place in the medal table at the Bucaramanga 2024 South American School Games, with 4 gold medals.

The Creole delegation has a total of 11 medals, including 4 gold medals, 1 silver and 6 bronze medals.

The para-swimming paraathlete Eduardo Quiroga added 2 golds, one in the S8 50m backstroke category with a time of 1:22.18 and the other in the S8 100m freestyle category with a mark of 1:22.18.

The other gold medals came in athletics through Nicolth Cacique on 80 meters of hurdles and Genesis Toro running 3,000 meters.

Velentina Gómez from paranatation won the silver medal in the 100m freestyle.

For their part, the judokas Lismari Morillo and Karen Valerio won bronze medals in the -36 kg and -40 kg categories, respectively. While in the men's division, Owen Mattey and Freddy Delgado also won bronze medals.

Meanwhile, Fabiola Rivero in the long jump, with a mark of 5.29 meters, climbed to third place on the podium, the same place that Valentina Gómez climbed in swimming in the 50-meter backstroke women's pre-youth category S11-S14-S7-S8-S9.
