Venezuela participates in the 46th edition of the International Children's Festival 2024 in Türkiye

For the second consecutive year, Venezuela is participating in the 46th edition of the International Children's Festival 2024, which takes place in Ankara, Türkiye, a gala that brings together 500 boys and girls from 29 countries around the world who will send a message of peace, through dance and culture.
The Venezuelan delegation composed of 10 girls, students of the Maarif Venezuela Foundation, in their first presentation, delighted the attendees with a potpourri of topics such as: Moliendo Café, El Alma Llanera and drums, rhythms characteristic of Venezuelan culture, with an extraordinary staging by the teacher, Mariev Álvarez of the Children's and Youth Theater Movement César Rengifo.
During the gala, the Venezuelan ambassador to the Eurasian country, Fredy Molina, welcomed and congratulated the Venezuelan girls, highlighting “their great talent and for leaving the name of our country high. Congratulations.”
This event seeks the educational and cultural exchange of children around the world with various activities and Venezuela, as the first South American country present, through the Maarif Foundation, Venezuela continues to create bonds of love and friendship with delegations around the world.
It is expected that by April 23, the Venezuelan delegation will also participate in the celebrations for Sovereignty Day, which will be attended by the president of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
It should be noted that Venezuela and Türkiye are working hard to build a multicentric and multipolar world, based on mutual respect, sovereignty and foreign non-intervention. Both countries have ratified their commitment to continue strengthening ties of cooperation and brotherhood between their peoples.
