Venezuela reaffirmed commitment to global energy market balance at OPEC meeting

The Executive Vice President and Minister of People's Power for Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, participated this Monday in the 61st Meeting of the Ministerial Joint Monitoring Committee of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Through his Telegram channel, Rodríguez explained that, during the meeting, they reviewed “the latest events in the global oil market and compliance with the Declaration of Cooperation of the OPEC Plus countries”.
In this regard, he reaffirmed Venezuela's commitment “to the stability of the global energy market in the face of the uncertainties and pressures faced by the international economy.”
The Committee confirmed that it will continue to monitor compliance with the production adjustments decided at the meetings held in 2024, and announced that the next meeting of the Ministerial Committee (62nd) is scheduled for October 1 of this year.
