Venezuela reaffirmed commitment to strengthen cultural ties with South Africa

The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, ratified this Friday Venezuela's commitment to South Africa to strengthen and strengthen cultural ties between the two nations.

Within the framework of the United Cultures Forum in Saint Petersburg, in Russia, Villegas had the opportunity to hold a meeting with the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture of South Africa, Gayton McKenzie, with whom he shared a pleasant moment.

“We have confirmed our affection for the people of South Africa and our shared commitment to further strengthen our cultural relations. I thanked him for his solidarity and friendship with our people,” he said.

For his part, McKenzie, who is a great admirer of Commander Hugo Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro, said that he intends to visit Venezuela in February of next year. At the same time, he thanked our country's hospitality with his country's delegation during their participation in the International Book Fair.
