Venezuela rejects attempt by the Guyanese government to simulate a conflict south of Cuyuní

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs. Yván Gil, rejected the new attempt by the Government of Guyana to denounce alleged clashes with Venezuelan security agencies on the border between the two countries, without presenting any evidence, just to build the narrative of being an attacked nation.

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela denounces to the international community the new manipulation operation promoted by the government of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, aimed at manufacturing a false narrative of conflict through the irresponsible dissemination of alleged armed incidents that occurred in some segments of the Cuyuní River, without presenting a single verifiable evidence to support its accusations against Venezuela,” stressed the diplomat in his Telegrram account
