Venezuela repudiates new massacre perpetrated by Israeli Zionism in the West Bank (+statement)

The Government of Venezuela repudiated this Wednesday the new massacre perpetrated by the Zionist regime of Israel against the Palestinian people following an incursion by the occupying Army into the north of the West Bank.

In a statement, released by Foreign Minister Yván Gil on his Telegram channel, he condemned that “this war of extermination carried out by the neo-Nazi government in the Gaza Strip and the Occupied West Bank, seeks, with this new escalation, to lead the region to an unprecedented dangerous war”.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its strongest repudiation and condemns the new incursion carried out by the murderous and genocidal Israeli government, in the north of the West Bank, against the cities, towns and fields of Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas and other Palestinian cities, on August 28, 2024, causing the death of 34 people, injuries and countless damage to infrastructure.

This war of extermination carried out by the neo-Nazi government in the Gaza Strip and the Occupied West Bank seeks, with this new escalation, to lead the region to an unprecedented dangerous war, with disastrous results and global consequences of a very high price for humanity and world peace. This progress in the violence of the Israeli war, which for more than 10 months has deteriorated the humanitarian situation of our brothers in Palestine, further exposes the vulnerability of the already afflicted Palestinian people because of the barbarism carried out by Israeli Zionism since October 7, 2023.

The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela rejects the hypocrisy of international actors, who, in the face of these repugnant acts, shamelessly ignore the repeated crimes of extermination and against humanity committed systematically by the occupying power of Israel.

Venezuela reaffirms its absolute support and solidarity with the Palestinian people and expresses the most heartfelt words of condolences to the families and friends of the victims and a speedy recovery to the injured.

The international community must demand an immediate cessation of the Israeli occupation, an end to the abominable crimes in Gaza; and that justice be imposed and those responsible for the massacres against the brotherly people of Palestine be punished.
