The Cardenales de Lara team, representing Venezuela, left Mexico behind in the quarterfinals of the Williamsport Little League World Series by a score of 11-3.
Mexico , after beating Cuba 6-4, faced a Venezuela that had defeated Aruba 2-1 and that will now hope to take revenge against Japan in the semifinal of this baseball tournament on Thursday, August 22.
