Venezuela strengthens bilateral cooperation with Zimbabwe

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe, Frederick Makamure Shava, with whom she spoke about bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

In a note published by the Vice Presidency of the Republic, he points out that Rodríguez was accompanied by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil and the Deputy Minister for Africa, Yuri Pimentel.

During the meeting, the authorities addressed issues and common spaces in defense of self-determination and respect for the Charter of the United Nations, in anticipation of the first Joint Commission to be held with the African nation.

They also discussed the unilateral coercive measures applied against Venezuela and Harare.

Previously, Makamure met with the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture, Wilmar Castro, with whom he discussed experiences in agriculture and the apex of the Great AgroVenezuela Mission.
