Venezuela thanks Vietnam for sending personnel to help with rescue efforts in areas affected by earthquakes

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, on behalf of the National Government and the Venezuelan people, expressed deep gratitude to Vietnam for the announcement of the sending to our country of a contingent of 82 rescuers.

Through a message posted on his Telegram channel, Gil also appreciated the Southeast Asian country's announcement of support for the recovery phases in the devastated areas.

“Venezuela reiterates its sincerest gratitude for this priceless show of solidarity,” he emphasized.

It is important to note that this Saturday the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam announced the sending of a contingent of 82 people, along with equipment and supplies, to support search and rescue operations, as well as post-earthquake recovery efforts.
