As part of the 14th Bern Latin American and Caribbean Film
Festival, Venezuela will screen the film “Ali Primera”
this Thursday at
the Kino Cine Club Bern, at 6:00 p.m., with free admission for regulars, friends and compatriots.
As a prelude, the official Christmas video “Prepare the Table” will be presented.
The
biographical film of Cantor del Pueblo, released in 2024, is a
collective work by the production company Humana Cine
and the Gran Misión Viva Venezuela,
directed by Daniel Yegres. The
feature film pays homage to the life and legacy of Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ali Primera, a
symbol of struggle and popular sensibility.
The
festival, organized by the Group of Latin American and Caribbean
Embassies (GRULAC), brings together 13 participating countries
and has Italy as the guest nation.
Established as a cultural
reference in the city of Bern, the Latin American and
Caribbean Film Festival remains a space for cultural exchange, mutual
understanding and the reaffirmation of Our America as a zone of peace and shared creativity.
