Venezuela U-15 advanced to the final of the Pan American Baseball Championship

The Venezuelan U-15 baseball team
remained undefeated and sealed their way to the final of the Pan-American Championship of the discipline
that is being played in Barquisimeto, Lara state.
The Venezuelan team defeated their Brazilian counterpart 10 races by 5 in the
semifinal game, at the Antonio Herrera Gutierrez stadium.
Center fielder Israel Carpio was the most
outstanding with El Madero, starting 3-2 with a triple, three RBIs and one scored.
In turn, second baseman Ángel Rondón provided an uncatchable and couple
of RBIs and first baseman Ángel Rodríguez stepped on the plate a couple of
times to sentence the fourth win of the Criollos, according to the press release of the Ministry of Sport.
The victory was scored by starter Enmanuel
Pérez, who worked for 5.1 innings in which he received five hits,
four scores, three of them dirty, with a ball base and a
prescription punch, while Matheus Kanabushi tolerated four uncatchers, nine
lines (three dirty), awarded three tickets and fanned the same number of opponents in 4.2 acts to take the backhand.
The Venezuelan team beat Peru 16 by 4; Colombia
11 by 1; Ecuador 18 by 6; and Brazil 10 to 5.
Venezuela, with a record of four victories without
losses, leads the qualifiers backed by Colombia in second place
with a record of two wins and one loss, while Brazil (1-2), Peru (1-2) and
Ecuador (0-3) are out of the standings for the final.
