Venezuela welcomes Canada's willingness to provide assistance to the Venezuelan people

Venezuela welcomes the statement made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Anita Anand, who expressed her Government's willingness to provide assistance to the Venezuelan people after the devastating earthquakes.

This was stated by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, this Saturday, June 27, in a publication on his account on the social network Telegram.

In her account on the social network X, Minister Anita Anand, said that “Canada is moving quickly to support people in Venezuela after these catastrophic earthquakes.”

“Together with @surreysarai, I announced initial humanitarian assistance to help trusted partners respond to urgent needs on the ground. As communities face heartbreaking losses and uncertainty, we will continue to support the people of Venezuela,” he said in his message.
