The Venezuelan paratenis table tennis team closed its performance at the ITTF World For Future Buenos Aires 2026 with six medals, divided into two gold, two silver and two bronze medals, an advance that consolidates its route in the draf to the Parasuramerican Games in Valledupar 2026.

Yoleidy Fernández won gold in class 4-5 after beating rivals from Chile and Argentina, in addition to winning bronze in WD10 women's doubles alongside Evelyn García, a duo that advanced to the semifinals before falling to representatives of Mexico and Argentina.

The second gold medal came by Denisos Martínez in class 11 after an undefeated round that included victories over competitors from Mexico, Argentina and Brazil to secure first place, the Ministry of Sports reported.

Roberto Quijada contributed two silver medals, one in class 3 after beating Gonzalo Acosta and the other in the XD7 mixed doubles with González, as well as a bronze in doubles with Ecildo López after advancing to the semifinals and closing his participation on the podium.
