Venezuelan Ambassador to South Africa presented his Credentials

At a protocol ceremony held at the “Sefako Makgatho” Presidential House, Ambassador Carlos Feo Acevedo formalized his position as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of South Africa.

On August 14, the ambassador presented the Credentials to the South African State Protocol Directorate and marks the beginning of a new phase in bilateral relations between Africa and Venezuela.

The president in charge of South Africa, Paul Shipokosa Mashatile, presided over the ceremony, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Venezuela reported on his account on the social network Telegram.

Since Venezuela and South Africa established diplomatic relations in 1993, they have signed 18 cooperation agreements in the areas of politics, trade, energy, oil, gas, communications, education, science and technology.
