Venezuelan delegation finalized work agenda in Laos (+ meeting with Foreign Minister)

The Vice President of
International Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Rander
Peña, reported that the work agenda of the Venezuelan delegation in the Democratic
People's Republic of Laos culminated this Tuesday with the meeting of the Foreign Minister of that nation, Thonsagvang Phomvihane.
Through his Telegram channel, he indicated
that the son of the founding Leader of the
Party and Father of the Fatherland of Laos, Kaysone Phomvihane, was also present at the meeting.
He stressed that to both personalities they sent
“the fraternal message of President Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan people and
we received their support for the Bolivarian process.”
“Mission accomplished! With Laos these days,
we have set the interparty road map that will allow us to promote the relationship
between our peoples,” Peña said.
Venezuela and Laos are allied nations through
South-South cooperation through the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), of which Laos has been a
member since 1997. The Association was created in 1967 by the
Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, to accelerate economic
growth, social progress and cultural cooperation in the
region.
